Now we've got these, we're ready for winter. I've got someone going to New York for a couple of winters and these should just see him through. He's allergic to wool, so the insides had to be synthetic, but the outsides are great for keeping warm, the soles sturdy enough for scuffing around the house (or apartment) all day, and they seem to be nice and comfortable (sorry, my son's barely tried them on so far). They certainly look warm--we'll have to see if they're as great as they look. They fit well, and don't 'flop' in the back, which is nice (they stay with your foot.) Glad I found these.
