Acorn Camden II Slipper Socks with Rubber Sole (For Women)

I wear an 8 and have skinny legs. I bought the 8-9. The soles are too big and the calves are a little tight, but they're wearable if I wear socks underneath.

Recently I fell and badly hurt both of my feet. I couldn't wear any of my shoes or slippers because of the pain and swelling. I ordered these slipper socks [...]Finally I have been able to wear something that didn't hurt, kept my feet very warm during our cold weather, and could be worn outside to pick up the newspaper.

The sock material is not soft at all, and actually felt a bit scratchy. They are so tall that they came clear up to my knee. The sock material is an ugly color. These are not a comfy cozy slipper.

I love these slipper socks! I just hope our daughter loves them, too, as they are for her!

Cold weather equals cold feet, for me. These slipper socks are keeping my feet warm when others have not been. They're well made but difficult to get on because of the length. The sizing is off in the large size. Buy smaller. Nevertheless, I'm happy with them because they do the job.

I remember "slipper sox" as a child back in the '50s. These are just like them! Warm and wonderful. In wool, they sometimes get too warm, but that's ok, as I want them for the very cold days :-)

QUALITY IS EXCELLENT. I WAS UNSURE ABOUT SIZING; I USUALLY WEAR AN 8 IN SHOES (SOMETIMES AN 8 1/2) AND HAVE A WIDE FOOT, SO I ORDERED THE L (8-9). IT WAS TOO BIG IN LENGTH, WIDTH WAS FINE. I'LL BE RETURNING THESE FOR A SIZE M. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT IF YOU ARE CLOSE TO A SIZE 9 0R 9 1/2 ORDER THE LARGE, OTHERWISE ORDER A MEDIUM IF YOU ARE A SOLID 8 OR 8 1/2. MY CALF IS 14 1/2" AND THE SOCK IS A LITTLE TIGHT, BUT I'M SURE THE SOCK WILL STRETCH A LITTLE. IT ISN'T TOO UNCOMFORTABLE TO WEAR, AND YOU CAN ALWAYS SLOUCH THE TOP OF THE SOCK IF NEEDED.

I love these slippers because they are so cozy and comfortable! The memory foam sole is nice too!! Plus they are cute enough that you could get away with wearing them with a pair of jeans if you really wanted to! ;)
