I can't believe ACORN must obviously be discontinuing these shoes. I just grabbed up this 3rd pair. The quality, comfort, look & fit are outstanding. I get compliments on these shoes all the time. I have been wearing the first pair I bought almost every day, I love them that much. If you buy a pair, just bend them upwards several good times to help break them in quicker. Don't worry, they're made so well, you won't hurt them. A couple of my friends wanted a pair, but their size is no longer available. Boy were they bummed out. Especially at these low prices. Boy was I lucky to get all mine before they're GONE!!! These shoes are NOT made in China. I have been TOTALLY satisfied with everything I've ever bought from Sierra Trading Post. Your one of my favorite stores.

For my 1st pair, I ordered the saddle finish. ( natural smooth leather-light brown-no longer available ) I loved them so much, I bought a 2nd pair by Acorn called the "Proud Penny". The exact same shoe, only w/o the lace and has the "penny loafer" top. Ordered them in the dark coffee color. They are also 5 stars! I've been noticing they are going out of stock, so I just ordered a THIRD PAIR, like the first pair, only the slate black w/brown panel. I can't say enough about the high quality and looks of these shoes!!! Extremely comfortable and built to last. They are a classy casual dresser, or an every day light duty. If you think the lace might bother the top of your foot, ( like a couple reviewers say, but they don't bother me in the slightest ) consider buying them in the "Proud Penny" version. PROBLEM SOLVED. My only problem now is deciding which pair to wear from day to day!!! If your size is available, you better [...] these up at this price, because they won't be here for long. The look, comfort, durability and balance are second to none. If I could afford it, I'd say these shoes are worth every penny of the MSRP of $150.00. Do NOT let the close-out price fool you. HAND MADE and NOT in China. Sierra Trading Post is on top of my list for stores!!! Thanks guys!!!
