I started a job that does not allow open back or open toed shoes but I wanted something cool and summery. These shoes really fit the bill. They are very comfortable, go with lots of outfits, and keep my feet cool.

These shoes are super comfortable and supportive. They do run a bit wide which was perfect for me (I would say if your foot is on the narrow side, then definitely skip this shoe). I will be looking for other shoes from this manufacturer as they seem to be made very well.

I ordered these based on everyone saying they ran big... they do, thankfully for me! I'm a ladies 12 on closed-toed shoes, and I took a chance and ordered the 11's and they fit! So I'd say they run "big" for most people. I also have a narrow foot so I pull the front strap snug and have to wrap it around then velcro it, but I figured out a cute way to do it. Overall I think they are probably true to width. They are very comfy right out of the box which I love, and cute to wear with shorts, jeans or informal skirt. I bought the sneaker version of these shoes and love them too! I gave them five stars because I know I'm a quirky foot to fit and they are fun and comfy!

    • We recommend that all half sizes order up. You should be fine with ordering an 8

    • I normally wear a 7.5, but the size 7 is fine. I think the width is probably why a 7 is ok for me. I need the extra half size for width because of a huge bunion near my right big toe. The straps sort of fit around this for me.||But I don't know about going from an 8. Can you just not buy an 8?

About Acorn

From humble beginnings handcrafting slipper socks to present-day factory production by skilled craftsmen, Acorn has always had one thing in mind: Comfort. Acorn slippers are so incredibly warm and comfortable that astronauts take them to space and Sherpas pack them along on expeditions in the most extreme of conditions. Acorn sheepskin shoes and boots are naturally breathable, wicking and great for warming chilly feet around the fire or after a surfing session. And while nowadays there are many different designs and innovative features, the constants are the lightweight, soft, and unbelievably cushioned interiors produced using only the finest materials. With this degree of comfort, it’s certainly no wonder Acorn customers are devoted and loyal -- nothing else compares.
