    I bought these because they were available in red, because they are leather, and especially because they have nice traction soles without being heavy. I had slipped on my slick porch stairs wearing flip-flops. These slippers arrived in time for me to have another pair of shoes that I could wear after my toes had been bruised. I have worn them in public w/o being embarrased. They are really sweet slippers!

    For a slipper this has fairly good arch support. It is very practical for going out to get the newspaper or the mail. I had a similar style of Acorn soft leather top slippers, but they were sold out before I could buy a second pair. I tried these and found them stiff on top but very comfortable to wear as well as being very practical. I only wish I could get a different color in my size.
