    In Hawaii we use 1 pair of slippers for inside the home and another pair for outdoors which keeps our floors and feet clean. Many other types of slipper when used every day for hours have their soles wear through in a few months. With the solid soles on these slippers I know the fabric will give away before the bottoms. I only wish the fabric used was more sturdy and know for sure if the slippers are washable.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I wanted slippers to walk around in a cold Minnesota house- my mistake buying open toes--burr. However, these slippers have no support. Just lots of foam in the footbed. If I am standing in the kitchen for a couple of hours, my feet will ache. Worry about tripping because the fit was very boxy.

    Acorns are the ONLY slippers I buy (have several colors and styles). I suffer from foot problems and these make it easier to walk because of their comfort and softness. This one overall is not as sturdy as others but still offers the same durability and value for the money.

    I'm glad I had such a good discount, or these would have gone back. They fit fine, but are itchy and the sole feels weird -- that's the best I can explain it. Maybe they'll stop itching after they're washed. Meantime, they're OK for back and forth from the hot tub to the house.
