I've had a couple pairs of these. They are nice and comfortable but if you're between sizes, they run a bit small. I'm a size 10 which they say is a medium but I should wear a large. That just means that over time, the back gets flattened out a little bit but based on prior experience, they're perfectly comfortable that way after they've been broken in.

These are soft on the outside and well padded on the inside. I am a female with 8.5 size foot. They are a bit wide for me but I find them comfortable. The hard sole makes it possible to walk outside in them.

One of my pairs of Acorn slippers that's maybe a dozen years old finally failed. The soles cracked and came unglued from the uppers. Too bad. They were comfy. They will be replaced with a pair that's maybe six years old, and my NEW slippers will replace those. The NEW slippers are plush and comfy just as expected. No surprises, just comfy slippers.

Very comfortable, look great! They are still a bit tight and want to slip off, but the toe box should expand as I wear them - and the low lip on the back keeps them on. My second Acorns, the others finally wearing down after about 10 years.
I they are indeed "fleece", I suppose maybe polyester. It seems like very soft boiled wool, so could well be a blend of any number of things. My husband and I both like the simplicity and the fact there is no fleecy-ness. Just solid comfort and warmth!

Not sure, but it definitely is not wool. It is soft and not itchy at all. The tag inside doesn't include the materials used - perhaps that was in the box and we've recycled it all. Sorry.
