    Good winter slippers are vital to my lifestyle. I've worn acorns with mixed success for many years. They are always too small, even when I order a size up. There are durability issues also. But I'm rough on them, wearing indoors and out, schleping firewood, compost, etc. And I keep buying them, despite their shortcomings.

    I bought a pair of these for my boyfriend's birthday. He wanted "leather wool-lined slippers with a back". So, basically moccasins. I love Acorn's slippers and knew STP would have a good price on them. He wears them everywhere - including when he goes hiking ... (much to my dismay). They hold up nicely and he loves them. Order a half size larger for comfort.

    I purchased these for my husband whom suffers from Reynaughs (constricture of blood vessels)and Vasculitis. Being cold is not good for him. These slippers keep his feet warm and comfortable all year. Finding a slipper of good quality is hard to find at a resonable price and Sierra Trading Post is the first place I look when I want good quality at a good price.
