Acorn Luxe Slipper Socks - Lambswool-Angora (For Women)

Nice memory foam bottom, snug fit. Wool is a bit itchy - I prefer the bamboo-cashmere blends - but this works for around the house and on long plane rides.

These come in sock sizes so they span a couple of shoe sizes. I hope that with a washing these will shape up better. The knit sock is soft and warm. Maybe should order a size down.

Perfect sock for lounging around the house. The angora/lambswool mix is so soft and comfortable.

Great to wear to bed -- as insulation from cold sheets, and for warmth during "mid-night excursions"

My old Acorns had a much more cushy foot bottom. This one is a bit lean. Also, since they are basically socks, it would be nice if one side of slipper had a mark, like the old Acorn. I always knew which slipper went on which foot because they had a very small Acorn tab on the outside of slipper. I have to turn these over to check I am putting them on the correct foot. This is a big drag, since these things last a long time. I will probably go ahead and use a marker to indicate the left and right someway....not very pretty. I still like the old style much more...will go back to them when these wear out. I thought all Acorns were the same, but they are not. I have worn the older style at least 25 years and they are great.

The soles of the slippers are true to size, but the sock upper is very, very loose. The slippers are fine for shuffling around the house, but they can flop around a bit, so I have to be careful walking up and down stairs. The slippers are very warm, the soles have good traction, and the socks are soft and comfortable--all features that I wanted in these slippers.

On describing myself, I don't think you can be be "style driven" and wear slipper socks! However, I have them on right now as I am on my computer on a chilly fall morning. My feet and legs are warm. They have a comfortable padded sole, and room inside to wear socks when the weather gets golder. They are not at all tight on my legs, but don't fall down and have to be pulled up. An excellent product.

Although I do find these slippers to be warm, comfortable and true to size, I was disappointed in the width or overall snugness of this slipper. there is a lot of play ; I thought these slippers would have been more form fitting around the foot. They are fine around the legs, but are too 'loose' on my feet .

very warm, not at all scratchy; my favorite slippers; they are very roomy - which can make them less comfortable to walk around in, but not so much that I wouldn't wear them.
