    I needed a pair of slippers for a recent hospitalization and I thought these would fill the bill nicely. Wrong! They definitely felt at least one full size too small. The fell off frequently while walking. I now have a sore on the top of my foot from the slippers rubbing against the skin. After wearing them for a half of a day, I put them back in the box and brought my flipflops to the hospital.

    Though these seemed like good slippers, I had to send them back as the description online failed to mention that there was no heel, and that wasn't obvious in the picture. I was looking for a slipper with a real heel to it. I did exchange them easily for the version from Acorn that has that...but that slipper is sized larger than the Meryl, so they'll have to be sent back too. Ugh.

    Acorn slippers are very well made and I have ordered several styles this past year. However, I've ended up giving them as gifts because they have been too wide over the instep and gap slightly. They fit others very well it seems. But at last I have a pair that are a perfect fit for me.

    Slippers are my passion and I look for comfort! These Acorns really fit the bill, plus they are very stylish. I rate them a 5, although the only thing I wish is that the heel were a bit taller. They have a tendency to slip off occasionally, unless I wear the right socks underneath. Otherwise, they are truly perfect, as are most Acorn slippers! I've begun a collection of various Acorn slippers, they are really awesome.
