Acorn Metro Moccasins (For Women)

I like the simplicity of the design of these moccasins and that they don't have a tie that constantly needs to be adjusted. They fit without needing adjustment. They are like a house shoe for me that I wear inside so I don't track dirt from outside into the house. The sole and heel are not hard rubber so they are flexible on my feet. I bought an extra pair because they are being discontinued and I don't know where I'll find such a great moccasin slipper like this again.

I bought these slippers when I moved to a house with wood floors; I wasn't a slipper-wearer, but I badly needed something that would keep heat from getting sucked out of my feet. I'm happy with these slippers because they're sturdy (I can take out the recycling or venture into the garage without feeling like I'm ruining them) and warm. I really like the fleece inside, which compacts a bit over time (as to be expected) to loosen the fit some - which is why I wasn't concerned that they were snug when I first bought them. That said, they are on the small side; I can't wear socks with them, which is fine, but size up if you have socks in mind.

Order a size or TWO bigger than you wear

I decided to keep these slippers (the sale price was unbelievably low for such a high quality slipper) even though right now they feel too small and tight...so much so I can't wear them in the winter with socks. But I'm hoping this spring they will loosen up enough to wear barefoot, as I really do like them. I'd recommend them with the caveat to buy at least one size smaller. (I later went back to the ad and saw the warning--alas, too late!)

I have narrow feet so ordering a half size larger made them just right if you like them snug.

I ordered these just a half-size too big, since that was all that was available. They definitely pinched the toe at first, but after a couple of days they're stretched out and are great slippers. If you can order them at least a whole size up I really recommend them.

Just what I was looking for, but not the right size

Great slipper! Can easily wear outside to fetch the paper or take out the trash. Comfortable and stylish. Runs small, so I ordered a full size up for perfection!

Comfort around the house

awesome product--Acorn rocks! However, sizing is too small by a full size. I'm a true 6, even in other Acorn footwear, but this one is off. Too bad--really cute!
