Closeouts. Don't let the furry texture deter you from Acorn's Shaggy Tex moc slippers; they're made of an ultra-warm Polartec®Thermal Pro®, toasty and lightweight enough to soothe even the most savage of chilly beast feet.

Not the most comfortable slippers I've ever had, but they are great for the price. Plenty warm. The plastic sole is nice to wander out to get the newspaper in the morning.
Answer
Machine washing the Acorn Shaggy Tex Moc Slippers is not recommended.

Question
“Size 8 shoes work for me because of orthotics, but my fet are actually closer to 7 1/2. Slippers seem to have extra wiggle room, but should I order M or L in these since I seem to be right on the cusp?”

Answer
According to our fit models the Acorn Shaggy Tex Moc Slippers fit turn to size. I would recommend ordering your normal size.

Order the medium. These slippers run a full size larger.

I am an 8 1/2 shoe and the L fit me well, a little wiggle room but stay on my feet. Hope that helps you some.

Question
“the acorn slippers are listed as S-M-L sizing. how does this translate into regular shoe sizes? I usually wear a 6 - 6 1/2, and have somewhat wide feet.”
Asked on 11/4/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from kalamazoo, mi
Answer
If you hover with your mouse cursor over the letter size available, a small box will pop up showing you the equivalent number size. In the case with these Acorn slippers, a small is for sizes 5-6 and a medium is for 6.5-7.5. Since your feet are on the wider size, I'd recommend the medium.

“I wear a true size 8...would you go with the Large 8-9? I don't want them to get sloppy as I wear them all the time around the house and I want fit and support as well as comfort.”

Answer
I wear a women's 8 1/2 and I wear the medium size. I'd think the large would be fine.

Question
“I wear a shoe size 6 1/2 with thin to mid-weight socks. If I need to wear heavy socks I need a size 7 shoe or boot. A size 6 is always too small and a 7 1/2 is always too large. Would any of the sizes offered in these slippers fit?||Thanks,|:-)”

Answer
As slippers are meant to have a comfortable fit the range of a M should still fit fine as they will have a little room for movement.

Answer
I wear these slippers all winter long. I don't wear socks with them. If you do wear socks, I'd think the M will do fine. I'll tell you one thing - they will feel a little narrow initially but they stretch out a bit in a few days. I wear the L and they are true to size as far as length. I'll also tell you that the wool Acorn slippers run a little narrow and they don't stretch out. I haven't worn the sheepskin slippers so I don't know about those. Hope this helps.

Hi Reiki Jan, these slippers come only in whole sizes, go for the size 7's, they will fit you! I got a pair for my girlfriend, she's a 7.5, I got her the 7~8 size and she's happy.||Axle

Answer
To give you an idea, I wear a definite size 10 1/2, and sometimes even a size 11, depending on the shoe. The slipper I got was sized|9 1/2 to a 10 1/2. I can wear the slippers with a pair of basic white crew socks on, and they fit just fine. My toes don't rub the inside front of the slipper, but there isn't a ton of room in the front either. They fit my 10 1/2 foot perfectly fine, with socks and without, and the width is fine too! Hope this helps you.
