My husband wears these around the house and out to feed the animals. The sturdy sole is thick enough for walking on our gravel drive and doesn't let water in. Very good quality. He is on his sixth pair, a new pair comes each year at his birthday.

This is my fifth pair of these slippers in the last 25 or so years. They are all a I wear in the house (or out to the mailbox) and I wear them year round. The natural shearling has great insulating properties which keep my feet cool in summer and toasty warm in winter. I hope they never stop making them, I can not imagine what I would use instead. Thank you Acorn, for consistently making a great product.

The bottoms of the slippers were made of a hard cheap plastic and not memory foam. Wearing these for less than five minutes was like walking on slick hard plastic. I returned the slipper the day after they were delivered. Sierra Training Post refunded the cost of the item minus return shipping. They charged me $9.95 to ship the slippers to me and then charged me $6.95 for return shipping. So these cheap slippers cost me $16.90 and I have nothing to show for it. What a waste of money. I don't think I will order from Sierra Training Post again.

I bought these slippers for my son, 17 years old. He always tried to use mine which I love. Now he does not need to borrow mine. the slippers are very warm and comphy. The only issue is that the bottoms get pretty slick and need to be roughed up periodically.

I bought these slippers for my husband because his other slippers were pretty worn. It is hard to find sheepskin slippers for men so was glad when these became available. He really likes the slippers & says they keep his feet very warm. The only complaint is the soles are a little stiff. He did order 1/2 size smaller than his normal & thinks they fit just right.

Very nice slippers with Acorn's usual quality materials. But they seem a bit tight with socks on. I am hoping they stretch and compact a little with wearing -- they should being leather and lofty sheepskin. Fingers crossed because I really like these for the cold, harsh winters we're having lately.

    • Answer You can either wear them folded down as in the display picture or you and have them unfolded to cover the ankle a little more. I usually keep mine folded down because I get too hot unfolded but for those cold rainy days I'll unfold it. I've had them now for about 2 weeks and I never take them off while I'm home. I wore them out grocery shopping twice too.
