    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Acorn means well I'm sure but they just don't match the quality or comfort of Uggs. They look good and feel soft, but they're flimsy, lack even enough support to stand up on their own, and have such a thin layer of fleece inside that they probably would have worn through within a month. If you can't afford Uggs and don't mind a lesser quality product then these will work well. Just don't set your hopes on them being around for a long time.
