    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I usually buy Ugg or Emu boots for my little one to wear in the winter because they are so easy to put on and warm, even without socks, which she doesn't always like to wear. While the wool fleece in these is nice and thick, the sole is the classic indoor/outdoor Acorn slipper sole, which I think ST needs to mention. While these will serve a purpose, they are NOT suitable for a wet winter and I wouldn't recommend them.
