Love these slippers. Tight enough to not fall off when I run upstairs, loose and padded enough for my feet to sigh happily when I have them on....Warm enough for chilly morns, light weight enough to let my feet breathe (it's summer and I have them on). Had another pair of acorns for 10 yrs+ I se...

I bought these in an XL which was about a half size too big for my 9 1/2 W feet right out of the box. Kept them because they are so comfortable and warm enough without being too warm. For serious winter I have lambskin. Just ordered again because the colour I preferred has come back so now I have two pairs. I'll give the L size a try this time.

My mom wanted a new pair of these for Christmas. She has tried other types of slippers and acorn are the most comfortable! These are all she specifically asked for. After coupons and discounts they ended up being half what they are at the store (including the shipping, which was a little high). Will see how they are after she opens them and tries them out!
If you hover over the " Sizes Available" a tap will appear and provide you with the correct numeric sizing. I hope this help's!

Dear Anonymous....DEFINITELY the medium, don't try the large--I ordered large for my 8.5 size feet and they were way to big. I'm comfy with bare feet in a Medium which goes to 7.5. This is more true to my Acorn sox size, which is Medium.

If you want to wear with socks, go with the large. If you want to wear with bare feet, go with the medium.

MEDIUM|Medium states 6 1/2 to 7 1/2; the large runs large for a size 8.

Personally, I'd get the 8-9. If it was a regular shoe, maybe not, but I want major comfort in my house slippers, not a close fit. The Acorn mocs sometimes feel just a half size small IMO.

The Acorn Textured Moc Slippers' small fits sizes 5-6. The medium fits sizes 6½-7½. You should also read the reviews on the Sierra Trading Post website, which are helpful in determining what size to order.

I wear an 8 shoe and the 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 actually fit me well--a bit snug at the toes at first, but they seem to stretch a bit with just a little wear, and then they are fine. This is my second pair of Acorn slippers in this size, and I found the same to be true with the first pair. Does make me wonder how they'd fit someone who truly wears 6 1/2!
