No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I returned the first pair because I went larger based on STP's recommendation and they were too loose. I exchanged for my regular whole size and STP is getting them to me quickly. When I did try these on I noticed they were very narrow, so I still have my doubts! Also, there is not much of a sole on them, just two pads - OK for around the house, but not going to hold up to going out on the deck to the grill if raining.
