I've been wearing Acorn socks for many, many years, and love them SO much. I have high blood pressure, and can't wear socks with tight elastic--it can cut off circulation in my legs. Acorn socks haven't got ONE STITCH of elastic. They're always comfortable, and stay up due to the way they're designe...

I ordered these as a gift for someone for Christmas in size SMALL and received a kids' size extra small, not what I ordered or can use. And it's too late to send them back. Thanks for screwing me over Sierra Trading Post. Remind me not to shop here again.

I love acorn socks and have purchased over two dozen over the years. I have noticed that the heathered colors wear out very fast. As in less than five weeks' time, which is how long ago I received these for my birthday. The printed fabric tends to be thicker and extremely long lasting. My advice is to stick to patterns and avoid the heathered solid colors.

I've been wearing Acorn fleece socks for many many years. My last batch of fleece socks were getting thin and some had holes in them, so I decided to buy another batch of socks. I neglected to look at the revised sizing though. Last time I ordered a bunch of these socks some years ago, ladies 8 fell in size M, but now if you wear ladies 8, you should order S. I am too lazy to go through the exchange process, I decided to keep them. They are just fine in my boots, clogs, etc.

The best thing about these socks is that they come in a variety of sizes. I got the XS for my size 7.5 foot. I usually end up with sock heels that are not in the right place because the sock is made for bigger feet. I subtracted one star because it doesn't seem like it will stand the test of time.
I would guess that what you need is an Acorn size L. My hub is a men's size 9 (shoes), which is roughly equivalent to a women's size 10-10.5, and he takes the Acorn size L, which fit him very nicely under his crocs and his work boots. I hope this is helpful. I love Acorn socks, by the way. A great product! You can read my reviews under my nickname, GrammaSu.
