It hasn't been cold enough to test them outdoors yet, but my girls love them. The patterns are cute and they are soft and warm. They fit like a slipper. My oldest daughter has been wearing them around the house.

I own some of the Acorn Polartec socks and like them so much that I bought these for my nieces, who live in another state. They have the socks now, but I don't think they have had a chance to try them. I believe that when they grow to fit the socks (which were ordered a bit big so that they would not miss out on them), they will really enjoy them!

They are a great alternative to slippers and he can wear them straight to bed. Beware, though, that they do not have a non-skid bottom and are very slippery on hardwood floors and tiled surfaces, etc. For him, though, that's a plus -- he can "ski" and spin with ease!

Reviewed by GB from Pennsylvania on Friday, January 04, 2008I bought these socks on clearance and now I know why they were on clearance. The sock fits loosely and the seams are a little annoying. The sock only comes mid-way up the calf (not long enough when you're cold!). On the plus side, I think this is a great sock to use as an extra layer in a pair of snow boots. I didn't think they stayed that warm (not good if your feet sweat). Terry cloth interiors are the only kind of sock that I've found that actually wisks sweat away and keeps my feet warm.
