    Living in Maine, these make excellent boot liners.The children love them, they are still dry when the boots come off and they double as house slippers..so boots off and your good to go.Feet are always warm and dry.Can't beat that.

    Got these for my twin boys. Last year received as gift, and I loved them so much for wearing with snow boots, I got them for them this year. One thing I especially liked was that before they could put on regular socks by themselves, they could pull these on and put on their own snow boots! Helped keep their feet warm while playing in the snow.

    These were warm and cozy, but my son wanted to wear them as slippers, and they are very slippery. We plan to use fabric paint to make a "grippy" surface on the bottom and then they should be fine.

    My daughter LOVES these socks. They are warm and soft and they fit great. They keep her feet warm and comfortable on cold, snowy days. It would be a 5 star review, except they don't breathe as well as I'd like, and her feet do get sweaty. But they're fleece - so there's that. I think they'd also be great lounging socks on snowy days. (We have yet to test that ourselves.)
