I bought these for my daughter, who supplied the above ratings. She wears a size 9 shoe, and the size M (7 1/2 - 9 ) are still a bit spacious. She said she wishes she had seven pairs so she could wear them every day.

Very soft, cozy, and warm! I would highly recommend these socks, especially for people with cold feet who want to keep them toasty warm during the colder months of winter. Would definitely order these again in the future.

My family has been wearing Acorn Fleece socks for 30 years and their quality is suburb!! They fit true to size and last for years. They are the only socks I wear and they keep my feet toasty. They are well worth the money!!

These socks are meant for a man,but I doubt any man could pull them up on his leg .I buy the men's medium because for a woman I have big feet.(10).I also have slim legs..and these socks in the past have been perfect for me! The socks I just received are much too snug when you pull them up on your calf. They must be cutting back on the fabric..I am not satisfied and will probably not purchase these formerly wonderful socks again!
The size L goes up to a 10.5, so it depends on how much swelling whether or not these would be too constricting. The socks are designed to keep you warm, but there is not a temperature rating on them.

I think they may be a bit thick for cycling. I must own 2 dozen pair and wear them mostly for winter use and around the house. If I do alot of athletic activity, my feet do seems to be moist when I take them off. Hope this helps.

no, definitely not good for cycling. Mostly around the house to keep the feet warm in cold winters.

Would not work with cycling shoes since they are wide and straight with no ankle turn. I ride. Wonder if you bought a big pair and wore them over cycling shoes---cut out where clears are? Might cut the wind a bit too.
