Reviewed by Pat the Great-grandmother from Texas on Sunday, March 10, 2013I told you when I purchased the socks that acording to Acorn's measurements I wear a women's small, yet you insisted on going by your measurements and sent me mediums in both the women's and men's socks. They are all too big. Rather than going to the effort of sending them back, I will probably send them to my grandchildren who are in colleges with colder climates than here in Texas and will also wear the larger size. None the less, you need to get with Acorn and correct your sizing whether I return the socks or not. The socks are great, I just wish I had at least two more pair in small that fit me.

Answer I think they may be a bit thick for cycling. I must own 2 dozen pair and wear them mostly for winter use and around the house. If I do alot of athletic activity, my feet do seems to be moist when I take them off. Hope this helps.

Answer no, definitely not good for cycling. Mostly around the house to keep the feet warm in cold winters.

Answer Would not work with cycling shoes since they are wide and straight with no ankle turn. I ride. Wonder if you bought a big pair and wore them over cycling shoes---cut out where clears are? Might cut the wind a bit too.

Answer No gripper on these. My husband buys his slippers one size too large and then wears them with these socks. Toasty warm all winter long.
