    These are very well-made and warm slippers but the sole is very squishy and elevated, so each step I spend time sinking down into them instead of walking. I also slide right off them because the sole is so thick, so I have to wear them with socks.

    The braid over the top makes it stiff, and difficult to get my foot all the way in, which results in awkward walking. The padding of the sole is too much, makes walking feel bouncy and I find that my foot turns over at the ankle at times when I'm walking.

    I have been wearing the Acorn slippper for a week and find them very comfortable, has good support and they have a soft cushion sole. If you get up during the night these slip on slippers are "the ticket" for those cool fall into winter nights. They are a little bulky looking but I will give up the style for the warmth.
