    This is a very nice looking shoe. I had to purchase one size smaller in the canvas shoe, so I did with this one. I could barely wedge my foot into it. It's painfully tight across the middle of my foot, across the top. I am disappointed in the inconsistency of sizing of Acorn shoes because I love the comfort and quality of their shoes. I usually wear an 8.5-9 and bought and 8. Am returning, no possibility of making these work.

    I got these on sale in the light brown and when I tried them on I fell in love. I have Diabetes and have to be careful about the shoes I wear so I listened to my Mom who reccomended the brand. She was so right, they feel good and look great. I have a high arch as well and they really fit well to me foot. I was very happy to find my size on sale as well.

    I love the slippers they make so thought I would try their shoes. They have the same insole comfort - but fit a bit snug and the back is lower on the heel than I am used to. (I was trying to replace Merrel shoes I had last year). For the price - I will keep and hope they stretch out. I would recommend them - but get 1/2 size bigger.
