They went back , as the tongue of the shoe wasn't wide enough to cover his foot as he tied them.

These things did great. My feet stayed dry and warm. Great grip with the spike set-up on the bottom. Only problem was I was slipping all over the place with the wet concrete. Not the shoes fault.
