Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by blessedimperfection from Utah on Friday, November 11, 2016I have tried around 10 pairs of different boots for my 18 month old daughter. She is still in the learning phases of walking, has chubby little feet and ankles, and does not understand at all how to stiffen her lower leg and flex her heel in order to put a boot on. Also, any boot with a wider shaft just falls off because she doesn't always press down on her heel when walking. These shoes are absolutely perfect! It took a little finagling to get her toe into the boot and then I have to push on her heel and have her stand up before I pull the velcro tight, but it was not a difficult process. She likes to go on daily walks around the neighborhood and always throws a bit of crawling in and these boots were perfect. The toe bumper completely hid any effects from crawling, the shoes never fell off with crawling, stumbling and multiple sits downs, fall downs and stand ups. They also have great traction without having too large of a sole that walking was hindered. These look like technical footwear I would purchase for myself. She currently wears a size 5 (infant/toddler) in Converse, See Kai Run & Striderite, but I couldn't get the size 5 on her foot. The size 6 is perfect and I believe will last the winter (fingers crossed). These are perfect for us!
