Poor Quality and Disappointing Customer ServiceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Montana on Saturday, June 11, 2016This was exactly the kind of shoe I was looking for, and I would have been thrilled if they had performed as advertised. I have worn them twice on a plane trip and once outdoors to pull some weeds on fairly flat ground, and already the left shoe is falling apart. The insert/insole is peeling apart from the inside of the shoe, and a support strap on the left side of the shoe is completely frayed. They are falling apart like I've been wearing them for three years instead of three outings.
Because I have worn them, Sierra Trading Post customer service tells me that I must pay to mail the shoes back to the customer service department, and they will decide whether to refund me or not. I have never experienced a situation like this with Cabela's or REI, and I'm pretty disappointed. I expected better product and better service from Sierra Trading Post. -

Merrell's are too narrow. These are relatively comfortable shoes, but they don't look or feel like quality shoes. The back strap / heel of the shoes also takes some getting used to.
