Verified Buyer Reviewed by xcnut from detroit, mi on Tuesday, December 4, 2012the jacket was surprisingly warm and water resistant to boot, though I know the waterproof coating won't last. I intend to use it for XC Skiing but it works for just everyday wear.
Beware that the jacket does not look like the pictured item. The stripes along the arm are the same color as the zippers, NOT black/gray like in the picture
The jacket feels a 1/2 size too large. If you're on the edge, order the smaller size.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bob from VA on Saturday, December 1, 2012This softshell is quite thin and is composed of a number of different fabrics. There is a lycra-like material where more breathability and stretch is required, and a softshell material is used in other areas. There appears to be a third material used on the shoulders (waterproof?). It looks like an expensive jacket to fabricate because of this and the anatomic cut. My only suggestion to improve it is to add breast pocket. And those rubber decals will probably eventually peel off.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Outdoor Mom from Abilene, TX on Tuesday, November 13, 2012We just bought this jacket for my husband who normally wears a large. It is a very nice jacket, but has a slim fit. Do not expect to layer anything more than a lightweight t-shirt or base layer underneath the jacket. The jacket is probably true to size, but just not for someone who needs extra room in the chest or stomach area.
- Best Uses: Hiking, Outdoor activities, Soccer
- Cons: No Room For Layers, Slim fit
- Pros: Great Color, Great fabric, Perfect For Soccer
