There are many reasons why I didn't like this jacket.

1. The sizing seems to be all wrong. When wearing the exterior of the jacket alone, or the exterior with the interior lining together - the jacket seemed to fit me great. When wearing the liner or interior jacket alone - I could hardly zip it up. How can it fit so great one way, and almost not fit at all the other way? I'm a shorter person at 5'4, so I have short arms. The sleeves on the interior jacket seemed pretty good for me, so they'd probably be short for someone on the taller side. However the sleeves on the exterior jacket are so long they go past all of my fingers even if I put my arms out in front of me.

2. Poor quality. The zippers do not zip smoothly. They seem to catch on nothing. The hood seems to have some sort of metal of hard material in it to help keep the hood in place when wearing it. However, most people don't put their hood up a lot, and it just seemed poke me in the back of the neck while the hood was down. This wouldn't be a big deal if the hood was detachable, but it's not. The hood also cannot be tucked into the collar of the jacket or rolled up.

3. Weird zipper. This is a personal preference, but I hate the way the pull on the zipper looks. It's awkwardly large and has a really weird shape.

4. Doesn't seem like it will stand up to rain well. This doesn't come close to the quality of a Columbia jacket. The material seems to remind me of swishy pants from the 90s or a cheap windbreaker. It looks like if it gets wet, you'll get wet too, or if you don't get wet, you'll certainly get colder in the rain. It doesn't look like water would bead off of this jacket.

5. Not warm. Again, this doesn't come close to Columbia jackets. I have an omni heat jacket that I need to replace. I'm pretty sure the fleece omni heat interior jacket is warmer by itself than this entire jacket put together. I live in Houston, so I don't really need something for arctic temperatures. It may be nice for a fall jacket up north, but the whole point of getting a 3 in 1 jacket is to have something for the fall and winter. It's just not worth it.

I know a lot of this may sound nit-picky, but if I'm spending over $100 on a jacket, it should be nice. This jacket just isn't worth the price. You can spend the same or just a little more and get something a lot nicer.

Less than a week later after purchasing this product I put it to the test. Weather in South Florida is unpredictable therefore I was pleased to be prepared for the rain and cold I faced at work when receiving a truck at 6 am. Thank you for a great product.
