I love the way the quality contents are already organized into bags with clearly labeled cue cards. Bleeding/CPR, Wound Care/Burns/Blisters, Fractures/Sprains, Medications. I would recommend training for appropriate use of this kit.

Good, bascic first aid kit to have around for minor emergencies. Will keep mine at camp to replace the disorganized mess we've accumulated over the years. Now I know where I can find what I need!

BEWARE...Hope you never need to use the gloves for taking universal precautions in providing blood barrier...THIS SINGLE PAIR OF El-cheapo gloves did not make it through the six minutes of direct facial pressure at a traffic accident assist! In tearing, it placed not only the first aider at risk, but the victim as well. I should return this kit...but...who likes returns? THINK TWICE ON THIS ONE.

This is great as a starter kit for the boys. But it needs more of everything, even for a day hike.

A very good general kit that can use supplimentation for major trauma (e.g. Sam Splint, large wound bandages, burn care etc). If you have young kids all kits (not just AMK's kits) lack children's strength medicine. Note that some medicines may be outdated when you buy this from an overstock supplier, but since these medicines are painkillers, etc (i.e. non-life critical) this doesn't particularly bother me. The kit is a little big for carrying in a backpack unless you are supporting a large group, but this will go nicely in our camper. AMK makes smaller kits for individual carry.
