Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I paddle close to once a week @ several lakes including Lake Powell and Lake Mead. Have a Wilderness Systems Tsunami 12' and a Pungo 120. Have carpal tunal and hand issues, two surgeries. Paddle frequently, some long trips. Planned to spend $300-400 for a good paddle that doesn't hurt me. This one is great, no pain so far. What a difference the graphite shaft makes. My hands were always cold no matter what gloves I wore for winter paddeling. This shaft is warm. I am estatic with this paddle and the price. The trick is to get the right length for your boat so your hands fit the paddle in the right area where the bend is. I have 2 boats with different widths so went for the shorter paddle and it hit the boat. Exchanged for the longer and it is perfect for both boats. However I find with this paddle I can move my hands around and change from high angle to low angle strokes. Happy with this product. Thrilled with the price for great quality.
