They are very comfortable, however, I don't know how they would hold up as a hiking or approach shoe. I like the manufacturer and have numerous pairs of their shoes. In fact, the B-5's are on their way!

Awesome traction on wet rocks, not so good on wet grass, however. These shoes work great on rock scrambles, mountain biking, hikes and around town... Overall Awesome shoe
