By seadog from Deer Park, NY on 03/05/2010 Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I received the scarf yesterday. First thought was it did not feel like cashmere. I have lambswool scarves which are twice as soft. Second impression was its lack of weight. Extremely thin. Upon holding the scarf up to inspect it there were several holes the size of BB's in particular at the middle crease. I don.t know if this is defect or moth damage. Either way it is a low quality product and I will be requesting a refund not an exchange. Gave it one star or review would not go through. If they had negative stars I would have hit -5.
By ClintonHill from Long Island, New York on 03/04/2010 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Length, Soft, Warm Best Uses: As A Fashion Accessory, Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This scarf is just what I was looking for. So soft. The colors are beautiful - muted tones - just perfect to wear with navy, camel, black, and brown. I think the length is just right. Not so long that it peaks through the bottom of the zippered portion of my jacket. My husband has a different Elgin cashmere scarf that I bought at Sierra. It's a bit nicer than mine because it's reversible so it's a bit more substantial in its weight and thickness. His is a truly beautiful scarf. But I definitely like mine too and hope to wear it for many years to come. I intend on buying these scarves for future presents. I believe everyone should have a cashmere scarf. What luxury!

Very soft yet warm. A little lighter than my own cashmere scarf bought at a local department store. But still fine.
