By NYC HIker from New York, NY on 11/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Snug Fit, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking/Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Really snuggly, soft, well-fitting glove. Well-insulated without too much bulk. Hoping to be able to handle a dog leash with it, and they can be scrunched down and fit into a big pocket for hiking.
By silver thimble from Hilliard, OH on 10/26/2009 Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's not cold enough yet to test these gloves, but they feel snug and will probably do the job of keeping hands warm, yet have the ability to bend fingers and grasp items. The black microfiber material is nice and the construction is attractive enough for everyday wear, not just cold weather sport activities, because these are not like bulky ski mittens or gloves. I purchased a small, and there's about a half inch room left beyond the fingertips. I like that there is a Thinsulate layer, and the bit of stretch stitching across the front and back of wrist will help keep cold air and wind out. I intend to use these this while scraping snow (and ice) from the car windows, driving, walking across campus carrying a book bag, and when carrying grocery sacks, the extra cushioning around the hand will be great.
