    The robe has a generous fit. Out of the box, it had a strong smell. I am hoping it goes away with washing. It is also rather stiff and scratchy.

    I wear bath robes after showering in the evening and in the morning when I first wake up. I bought this robe because it is 100% cotton. I have allergies to synthetic fabrics, including blends, so this robe fits my needs. I am a thin person so this robe is a bit too large for my taste, but not so large I can't wear it at all. The roomy size will be convenient when I wish to layer a flannel P.J. top under it as I do on chilly evenings/mornings. I get cold easily so in this respect the roominess of the robe works in my favor. The sleeve length was too long, so I folded under about 4-5" at the bottom of the sleeve and hemmed it. I tried cuffing the sleeve first but it still felt too bulky for me. An inside tie to help keep the robe closed is an improvement I suggest. I have added this feature to my robe and it really does help keep it closed and provides a better fit at the waist.
