AeroBed Heated Mattress Pad - Queen

My wife who has been cold since she had frost bite as a child loves this thing.

The heating range is very wide, warm to almost hot. I only use it at minimum level 1-2 out of 6. Whether you tend to be cold easily or are always warm there is a setting here that will work for you. The light on the control dial is very bright and may require that the control be placed so the room is not illuminated. If you like the room dark the dial will need to be covered. A small piece of colored electrical tape does a nice job. The control has large easy to read setting numbers. Overall as a mattress pad, it works well and has nice quilted loft. Very comfortable and fits easily over corners of a deep mattress. Automatic shutoff after 10 hours is a great feature for sleepy heads that forget to turn it off in the morning.

This is much better than I expected. I live in an R.V. and it gets cold from underneath. This product is great! Keeps me warm & comfy and much better than an electric blanket. Thank you so much for such a great product.

The mattress pad warms up quickly. I have never left it on all night, just use it to warm the bed. It has a rather bright display light. Have not washed it yet, so can't comment on durability.

We use this to warm the bed and sheets before we get in. Great because we prefer the bedroom cool for sleeping

This is my first heated mattress pad, so I admit I don't have much of a comparison, but I like it a lot. I use this on a clamshell-style fold-down sofabed (which is a bit longer and narrower than a queen, but it fits fine) but I remove it before putting the sofa back up, because the instructions warn against folding it in a sofabed since it could damage the wires. I usually use it on the 3 or 4 (out of 6) setting, which is plenty warm. It seems to get extra toasty where you're lying, and not heat up the entire mattress, which I like--I find it very relaxing to have the heat applied to my back and legs. It doesn't have much padding, but on the other hand, it folds up pretty compact for a queen-size mattress pad. I'm not quite so crazy about the 100% poly cover, but it washes & dries beautifully, the plug at the head of the cover which connects to the wire is a little awkward, and the lighted dial on the control is very bright--I need to put it face down under my bed and there is still a bit of ghostly glow. But it's a nice cover & well worth the $$ for the improved sleep.
