I have not had a chance to use these as I got them end of season, so I'd feel guilty giving 5 stars. However they remind me of designer ski pants I had years ago that I loved. Those were warm for the weight and because of the close fit, very flattering. They were durable as well, & I expect these to be just as good. IMHO lots of ski pants run small, & I followed the recommendation to buy 2 sizes up. Perfect. I am not tall and am used to taking up hems a lot; these would be easy to do.

If you order these, remember that they are European sizing. I'm usually a size 0 or 2 petite and the size 6 fit OK, just a bit big. The fabric was the main thing that turned me off with these. I needed a pair of warm wool or microfleece pants to wear during my long walks in the winter time in Wisconsin snow. These are stiff, kind of like upholstery material? I had to send them back because the price, even on sale and clearance, was too much considering they were not what I wanted. I'm sure they'd be much better suited to downhill skiing (not cross country) or snowmobiling, perhaps.

I am wearing them right now because our house is cold! Other comments mention that they are "itchy" and I have not experienced that. When I go showshoeing I do wear I compression layer under just for warmth. Very stylish...look like trousers! Make the rear end look "perky"! I am usually a 0-2 and a 6 is perfect, so sizing is just different that usual, but worth the search. I will have these FORVER!

Look and fit was great, but I didn't like the wool lining...too itchy for me.

These fit VERY small. I normally wear a size 2 but ordered a size 6 which fit well albeight a bit snug in the waist until they mold with body heat. I wish they had at least one pocket. I would recommend them at the closeout pricepoint but not a full price.
