    These would be a great pant for football games, walking the dogs, sledding, etc.. I don't know if they would be warm enough for the cold weather that I am used to in Buffalo! I would recomend bumping up a size. I'm an 8, and the 10 fit, with no thermies on.

    These pants have become my favorite winter workout pants. They are very comfortable, as well as good looking on my size 16 body. The fabric swishes sensually with my every move. These pants are designed to keep the snow out of your boots, and they do. I wear them trudging through deep snow, tucked into my snow boots, and remain dry and cozy.

    These are high quality pants that fit beautifully. I am 5'6'' and 130 lbs (ordered a size 6) and they were very flattering. HOWEVER, I did return them for a pair of insulated Lowe Alpine pants (that are not as good quality) because they were too thin. I understand that as a shell, thinner is less bulky. However, I cannot imagine they provide any warmth, therefore they require either expedition weight long underwear, or long underwear and another layer of pants, which means too much bulk. I currently have a pair of Patagonia snow pants that are not insulated, but are thick enough that they provide warmth with medium weight long underwear when skiing in 15 degree temperature. These would not. They are a really good buy, the only reason I did not give these pants five stars is because they did not fit my criteria of warmth for winter sports.
