This is an excellent product! Sleeves are long to fit those with longer arms. No restrictive movement. Extremely waterproof and wind resistant. Durable fabric. I plan to enjoy this jacket for many years.

I bought this jacket as a Christmas gift for my son. He was very pleased with the way it looked and how it fit. This was a great deal.

material is great, but there is not enough room in the upper back when you put your arms straight out forwar.

This jacket looks great but its performance does not measure up. The biggest issue I had was with the fabric. Although it is a nice tough ripstop material, it has no stretch. Combined with a trim fit, this lack of stretch severely inhibits mobility. The jacket binds across the shoulders, the sleeves ride up your arms, and the torso rides up your ribs with any sort of motion typical of climbing, skiing, or just backpacking. My other complaint about this jacket was with the exceptionally high collar. It stands about twice the height of something like a TNF Apex Bionic jacket. I appreciate having a stand-up collar but this one is just too high. Finally, whoever designed the sleeve ends needs to be fired. The cuffs use a very odd elastic cinching...odd because only part of the cuff is elastic and that part uses what seems to be shock cord or something. The cuff never seals around the wrist, and the elastic shifts. This jacket is being returned immediately.

I purchased this jacket for my 14 year old son and he loves it. The xs is a perfect fit for him. It is lightweight, but with the windstopper membrane it is also warm for its weight. He wears this jacket everywhere. I will be purchasing another one for my 12 year old son as well.

I bought this jacket for my 14 year old son. He loves it, wears it to school, football games, etc. We live in Michigan's UP and the Fall has been very cool. It has been the perfect fall jacket and should work well for spring skiing as well.

I'm short...5'4" and the small fits perfect...perfect arm length too. I sent back the Patagonia Leway (arms and body too long) to get this jacket and I am very pleased.

I had to return for a size larger... not because it was too small, but the "cut" looked funny; sucked in under arms and along turso. Baggier was better, and looks a lot nicer. It is not meant for cold weather -- above 40ish (or lower if very active) is about it. It is a nice weight -- light and soft.

I use this soft shell as my primary jacket for winters in Houston. Generally we see cooler temperatures that rarely dip below freezing but are driven by cold prairie winds in excess of 30 MPH. The Windstopper makes short work of these cool, windy days. It is warm without being hot. We recently had sleet and snow. The jacket kept me warm and dry. I would not recommend it for downpours, but for moderate snow and light rain it does quite well. The fit is superb. I am 6 foot and 190 pounds. The large fit like I had it tailored. Comfortable but not bulky. Sleeve and waist length were perfect. It moves well and is not restricting. Well worth the price. The only drawback is no core venting should I use it for strenuous activities. I would have rated 5 stars if not for the venting.
