AFRC Skiwear Gore-Tex® Ski Pants - Waterproof (For Men)

At 135# and 5.6 and 65 years old, these pants are more stylish than I need. I recommend these for skiers and lodge rats. Boarders, hikers and snowshoers might consider a size larger than than normal.

I bought these pants for snowboarding. Very pleased with the quality and fit of the pants, especially for the price! I am not crazy about the side velcro that runs all the way down the side of the pants with the zipper, but I can deal with it for the price of these pants! Great buy!

Nice pair of light to medium duty ski/snowshoe pants. The full length side zippers are great for venting and the waist to inseam ratio is good for slender people (I am 6'-4" with 34" waist and bought L size). Only problem so far is lack of belt loops or waist band snaps; when zipping sides down the only thing left holding the waist is a couple of small velcro patches. As a result, have been zipping from bottom up.

I wore these over my dress pants in a storm carrying gale-force winds and driving rain. The pants stood up admirably against the forces of Mother Nature and allowed me to arrive at work bone-dry. I highly recommend these pants.

I ordered these pants and sent them back before ever using them. The waist has no belt loops, and no dedicated suspender connections. If you were to zip down the sides, there are only two small velcro fasteners to keep the waist band from opening. Because the waist is somewhat undersized this will definitely be problematic for strenuous activity. As I intended to use them this spring snow shoeing and cross country skiing along the Colorado Front Range, I wanted a full side zipper to allow me to vent the pants with several options. These are not the pants for me! I couldn't see how they could work for anyone.

I needed waterproof not just water repellent especially for those days when rain drops were hitting my legs when sitting on the ski lift. I would get soaked! But with these pants, the water rolled right off!

This is the 3rd pair of the AFRC Gore-tex ski pants that I've ordered in the past 2 seasons. I wear them, my daughter wears them and now my husband is wearing them. We work in the downhill ski industry, snowshoe when ever we can and are professional dog (retriever) trainers for field events. There are the best all-round ski I've ever purchased. They are not to heavy and not to light, so the work well during most seasons (fall-spring).

There are better ski pants but not for the price.

Used the pants this past weekend and they performed well.

I USE THIS FOR EXTREME SKIING. HOLDS UP GREAT AND IS DRY AND WARM.
