AFRC Skiwear Synergy Jacket - Windstopper® Soft Shell (For Men)

AFRC's windstopper fleece is a good fit. I returned this one in medium because it binds the shoulders.

I bought this for my husband as a mid weight jacket to wear over another layer in cold windy weather. Quite a nice looking jacket and slimming in black. The large stand up collar may allow unnecessary cold air to access neck area. Really good buy from STP though.

It is a good quality jacket if it fits you. My normal size is small but ordered medium after reading the reviews. The medium was not big too me but was not perfect fit either. I think the small size could be too tight. Outer shell seemed good and it was warm. It can be a better product if the end of sleeves were bit more tight and flexible.

Very pleased with this article. Smart design just a tad on the small side - I'm 5'7" 135lbs and I wouldn't go to a medium but if you don't like a tight fit you may want to size up. I had been looking a lot for a soft shell, went to many stores to try on different brands/models and finally went with AFRC because I can't pass up a bargin. No regrets - it's better than any other product I tested....so, I got my cake and ate it too!

I thought I would give this a try since it was so affordable but it did not fit and it was not comfortable. The material is bulky, thick and there isn't much stretch so i don't think it would work too well for someone looking to wear it for outdoor activities. Definitely not what I expect from a soft shell. The wrist area is too large and there is no elastic so if the sleeve length is too long, the sleeves will just hang down over your hands. I imagine the wind/cold will get through the excess wrist room even if the sleeve length did fit. I am 5'3" 125lb and the small was too big and arms too long, esp with no way to cinch the wrist area.
