    I like this jacket quite a bit. It's warm, it's light-weight. It's not one of those "athletic fit" soft shells, which is actually something I like, but if you're looking for a real snug fit like that, look elsewhere. This is a no-frills jacket that does what it says and is a bargain for the price.

    Being in Chicago, I needed some serious windstopping power in a jacket. This one delivers big time. With only a sweater on underneath the jacket for insulation, you will be plenty warm through the worst the midwest winds can throw at you.

    Overall, this is a great jacket. It's entirely windproof, and has a good athletic fit (I'm 6'3" and slim). The sleeves are long enough to give you adequate coverage when riding a bicycle. The collar is a bit wide, however.

    Jacket would have been a perfect fit...but just a little snug in the back between the shoulders. I am 5' 11" 170 lbs and medium would have worked if I were not laying under the jacket. I am waiting on the size large to arrive. Soft outer and nice fleece inner. Sleeves and cuffs were great.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Nice look, fabric, etc, but very strange fit. It's nice and long in the back for a jacket of this type, and the sleeve length is also generous, but the underarms are very tight, such that you couldn't wear anything but the thinnest baselayer underneath it. Even then it wouldn't be that comfortable. Fix that problem and this would be the perfect jacket of its type.

    this jacket is a perfect mid-layer. thick and warm enough for the quick in-and-out of the door during winter, and compact/soft enough to fit under a down jacket. A small in this jacket is equivalent to TNF small or a Mountain Hardwear medium.
