They are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They were true-to-size. They did not provide very much arch support (for me) so I just added my own. I love these so much that I wear them to work almost every day.

I ordered 1/2 size longer than my usual shoe size so I could wear a thicker sock. The insole is removable. The toe box is wide. They are padded more like a shoe and not like a boot.

I have flat feet and the arch in the footbed offers comfort and lessens pronation of the foot. Style is typical of a walking shoe and looks good with jeans. I am an 8 and bought an 8 and can wear with mid weight wool socks. Please note, an 8 is a 39 European so I think it is more like an8.5. Porter is a medium brown. Leather is very nice.
