Reviewed by Tree Man from Athens, AL on Friday, December 09, 2011I just wanted something to thow on to go out to dinner, family gatherings, casusal wear. These broke in quickly and have great traction. I have a narrow heal which makes them a little loose but no worries wool socks solve this.

I have a very easy foot to fit - 10.5, average width, average instep, no protrusions. Yet they just don't feel right. Even with my custom orthotics, they just don't feel right on my feet. I'll keep em and see if they break in and feel better.

It is quite stiff though and not exactly easy to just slip on, but hoping this will get better over time. Other than that, it's a really, really nice looking shoe.

After reading the comments on the shoe size and fit (I normally wear a size 9 1/2 M & comments indicated you should order a 1/2 size larger), I felt comfortable in ordering a size 10. The shoe fit for length, but not in width. TOO narrow despite the many comments that it was a wide shoe. They have been returned to S.T.P.

I would definitely recommend to a friend, in fact I have ordered two other styles of Ahnu shoes for myself and I am also very pleased with them as well.
