Ahnu Penny Shoes - Leather and Suede, Slip-Ons (For Women)

I'm very happy with these shoe. I purchased the blue ones, and I really like the color. I got my shoes a half-size smaller, and they fit good. My first time wearing them, I had them on all day. No problems. I bought my sister a grey pair. Also a nice color. I like the contrast between the leather and suede.

This is the first time I've tried this brand and so far, I'm very happy with it. I've only tried them on, but they seem to be well-made and comfortable. I typically need to use an orthotic insert for comfort, but it may not need to with these.

I have a narrow heel and have issues with heel slippage in pretty much anything but sandals and flip flops. These shoes do a much better job than most of fitting all the way through for me, even though the height of the back of the show is a tad lower than I would prefer. I bought these because they were 100% leather for an incredible price, and never thought I would love them as much as I do. I find them much prettier in person than on the site. I got the red color, and my husband insists it is purple. Either way, it is interesting, as is the "canvas look" suede. These shoes are cushy and attractive and I really am enjoying them so far.

I saw these shoes elsewhere for MORE money and came across these as a fluke here at STP.
I first bought these at $ 38.00 (which was a 'great price') then a few months later saw these shoes here for $ 17.00!!!
OK, now about the quality. These are very comfortable for me because I need to use an orthodic-which easily fit. They are super cute with jeans or with a denim skirt. The soles are solid and grip well when its wet outside. Very pleased with these shoes ---and the great price :)

I purchased these, but then sent them back when I found that they did not fit with medium thick socks, which is what I had intended to wear them with. I didn't think that going up a 1/2 size would solve the problem, as the shoes were also too tight in the width with the socks. But then, when I saw the price job substantially, I decided to try them again. I am glad that I did. They are true to size with a thinner sock, and perhaps when it warms up I can wear them with no socks at all. The inside of the tongue is surprisingly comfy - with nice cushioning and no unfinished/rough seams so don't seem like they will cause blisters. They are flexible, but not to the point of being of having no structure, and not fitting well. I personally like the style quite a bit -- certainly fairly simple looking, a virtue in my eyes, but the contrast of the materials gives it a bit of personality.
