I had been putting off replacing my old line for a year, but I ran across this deal and could not pass it up. Very sippery and very smooth thru the guides. So far, no complaints.

Nice Fly Line. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but i hear good things about it.

After using several times, I can say that I would never trade my good, old Cortland peach lines for this. Ridges are irrelevant, as the surface area of a line in actual contact with the guide is very small. I find the line to behave like an old line which hasn't been cleaned and lubricated; it's not limber and has no stretch to it, and is quite stiff, though not prone to coiling. In casting, I just can't get it to unroll properly for a smooth presentation. It always sort of cracks like a whip and then falls roughly onto the water, which I have never experienced in 30 years of fly flinging.. Also, the coating is delicate and easily strips off when cinching up an arbor knot with the backing. In summary, I would have returned it if had did not come at a crazy cheap dealflyer price.

It was time to replace an old cracked 4 weight line.
The AirFlo Ridge fit the bill with performance and value.
Reduced surface tension of the ridged line shoots the line thru the rod guides.
Quality welded loop ends, and no signs of memory coil.

Great for very long distance casting without the noise of other lines designed for the same niche, yet remains very easily castable for accuracy situations. A perfect all-around dry fly line and for nymphing with long leaders. The loops make it very easy to use under all conditions and when switching tactics.
