They are ultra soft and cozy and conform to the dogs' bodies. They LOVE them. The only downside is that the fabric is easy to chew through. if the dogs decide they want a new chew toy, these will not hold up.

The fabric doesn't get totally covered with fur, which is nice since it comes in dark colors and my dogs have a lot of white hair. It isn't very thick, so it might be less good for heavy or big dogs. My dogs weigh about 18 lbs. each and 2-3 usually lie on it. I also don't know how well it washes since I haven't done that yet. I'm very happy with the purchase as are the dogs!
