5.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful design and build.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Backcountry Bob from Michigan on Wednesday, May 4, 2016I wanted a pair of these boots for a long time. Price kept me away. Comfortable, all purpose boots with extra soft leather and quality workmanship. Everything i thought they would be. Excellent Italian boots.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great boots!Verified Buyer Reviewed by 3HForestManagement from West Texas on Tuesday, March 22, 2016I decided to finally buy these boots after reading other great reviews. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the boots are very comfortable after a short break-in period. I was a little skeptical of the small size of the outsole lugs, but after a short hike on gravelly and sandy desert terrain I can vouch for the "grippy" description of the recycled material.

5.0 out of 5 stars. These boots are fantasticReviewed by TomDick&Harry from North Dakota on Monday, January 25, 2016I have had these boots for two weeks now. I am a very discerning consumer of footwear...especially boots. I have several Red Wings, Aldens, Trickers, some spendy Filson boots...(made in USA) but these AKU boots wowed me. They are unbelievably comfortable...the latex footbed is 2nd to none. I've never felt anything like it. The outsoles are the perfect amount of cushion and stability. The boots are very stable. I have back pain but these boots allow me to walk normally "heel-to-toe" instead of "soft-shoeing" They look good, too. I recommend these boots for sure. I usually wear an 11.5 E in regular Red Wings. (Sometimes the "heritiage Red WIngs I need a 12. (I'd say I'm a 46 in europoean) I bought a 12 in these boots and they fit perfect. The toe box is nice and wide. My feet sing in these boots. Leather-lined, high quality. The comfort it unbelievable. PS. I did try an AKU hiking shoe and the 12 seemed small, I sent it back. The boots seem to run a bit bigger than the AKU shoes.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Boots!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Guiseppi Stanetti from Virginia on Wednesday, January 13, 2016I was previously unfamiliar with this company, but took a chance on "handcrafted Italian leather boots" after much experience with scarpa and asolo over the years. These boots exhibit great craftsmanship, with leather, finish and stitching all first-rate. I also appreciate the buttery-soft, full leather lining. These boots are not mountaineering boots, but they will not be used as such. I purchased them as winter footwear for Virginia and they should be fine for that and some light hiking. They are not waterproof, but I treated with some nikwax suede proof. Overall, they look great and keep my feet warm.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent Everyday BootVerified Buyer Reviewed by J in Michigan from Michigan on Tuesday, December 22, 2015I really cannot say enough about the quality of these boots, especially for the STP price. The handmade quality and high end materials are evident and this boot will clearly be resoled multiple times before they wear out. Definitely a bit too clunky for serious hiking but perfect for moderate trails and around town use. True to size (size 13) and extremely comfortable.
