On the upside, this is a very well made GTX WP boot and a super value at STP prices compared to others. A few things to mention ...fit runs oddly big. Almost to big although I'm going to stick with them. They are growing on me and I'm not sure sizing down will fix. Heel and arch are correct fit and going a 1/2 size down might change this critical fit. This is subjective and might work for you though. "Light" not sure about that...they feel a little heavy compared to other brand textile boots I've used over the years. Never did look at the specifications though. Was not a deal breaker for me. These two things reduced to a 3 star for me. Might be higher for you...

Good fit, comfortable, great for day hikes in moderate terrain. Very water proof, but didn't get too hot on my feet.

These are among the better hiking boots I've tried in a while. If you hike under a heavier pack and on pretty gnarly terrain, I think these will do great, or probably even if you're work environment needs a heavier duty boot with some foot protection. I had to be honest with myself and realize I don't do the numerous days of backcountry hiking anymore with 50+ pounds on my back. Therefore, lighter trail runner type shoes are honestly what I reach for anymore, which are just flat out more comfy for dayhikes or overnighters. These boots seem to have decent room for the toes, but, as is often typical or real hikers for me, in the size they fit best in front, the heel slips too much (trust me you do not want that in a hiking boot)..and in the size that secures the back better, it's just a tad to tight a squeeze on the toes. This is common of most hiking boot designs for me, so is not any fault of these. I gotta say the comfort is great..the materials that envelop your foot and ankle are top notch and are as comfy a boot as I've tried on in a while, and the Vibram sole seems sticky, sturdy, and ready for years of action. A quick word on the weight: I know these are called light, but keep in mind that's relative..as footwear goes, these are heavy. They are sturdy hiking boots that will hold up to some real wear and tear. So...they are light, sure compared to even burlier boots that is. :) You're not going trail running in these.
