Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Equina from Montana on Friday, February 7, 2014This boot was true to size ( I wear a size 8, generally). The left boot fit perfectly, but the right boot felt too narrow at the toe box. A shame, as they seem well made and sturdy, but I had to send them back.
Reviewed by jpmrn from Keene Valley, NY on Friday, November 1, 2013These boots are very comfortable with a good deal of wiggle room In the toe (hard to find). The insole is as good as the expensive ones you can buy (like "green feet"). I love the vibram sole and the additional tread pattern going up the tip of the toe for rock faces. My hike last weekend with these shoes was fantastic with less than ideal conditions of mud and snow. The tread pattern kept the soles free of debris. I managed to fall in the stream with a temperature outside of 20 degrees and along with my gaitors, my feet stayed dry!! These are truly waterproof!! After my long search for a boot, I am very pleased with these boots.
Reviewed by Maine nature Lover from Maine on Monday, September 30, 2013I will be returning this boot but it's not due to any fault in the boot itself. I injured my ankle a few years ago and have a hard time getting the right fit/support in that area. These boots fit true to size in my opinion. I regularly wear either a 9 or 9/5 and ordered a 9.5. There was plenty of toe room and they are very light with good support. However, my heel is narrow and I had heel lift which I knew would translate into blisters on the trail. It also means that my ankle will not be stabilized. So I am sending them back reluctantly.
